I don't have it either. I think it's Firefox, because Firefox has it's own automatic spellchecker that underlines words in red. Anyway, that is what I see.

Now a days people have too many other things to be worried about. Come on, do we really think this is (at the end of the day) going to make or break us? With things going the way they are, people need jobs, healthcare, schools are closing all over the country. Life is not all about grammer. Trust me there are a lot of educated people out of work. And I think people need to lighten up and stop being judgemental about issues that are really not going to get our economy going again! PLEASE RELAX!!!!!

Ever since I've had my computer out of the shop, I don't have spell check anymore and when I click on it it's asking me to download a program probably laden with spyware, viruses, advertising, etc. The heck with that, I don't need anything slowing this PC down.

If there's a dictionary handy, I'll use it but if not, I just roll with it.

Most tool bars should have a spellcheck as well. It's usually under tools. IE has Ispell. FireFox has one and most others do as well.

Yup I have Firefox browser, I suspected that may be the issue. It does spell check just in a different way, as Lady confirmed with red line and right click.
Note: I left the question of spell check in the Fax forum...It has been answered and confirmed by the Administrator that it is indeed Firefox...they have they're own dynamic spell checker. Boy am I glad we got to the bottom of this issue. thanks all

That is all, now I go to advanced, I get more stuff but no spell check. Now I do a 'Preview Post' and still nothin. Let me ask you this......do you get red lines appearing under your misspelled words? I maight go to CD fax forum and see if a moderator can give me any clue as to why i do not have it. I am still capable of spell check the way I described it to you. Red lines and right click and it's fixed.

Pitts, I've been meaning to tell you I get a kick out of your status line, it gives me a chuckle.
Thanx; I am glad someone got it...Surrender Dorothy... is another good one...lol... the spell check is just to the left of that "a" icon right above the word "smiles" , I never see the red type??? look for the little black checkmark...let me know...... I know how frustrating it is... I am still trying to figure out how to attach pictures...lol...

Hey there Pitt. The best way to attach pictures is to go to your profile, then click on albums. Then click "upload pictures" and browse and find the picture you want and upload it. Once your picture is uploaded then click on the picture. Under the picture you'll see "BB Code". Copy and paste that link into the post and it will show up as a picture. Wala! Shazam! One beautiful picture.

I think you can hot link them to directly to the picture on another website but many people don't like it when you do that.

Your gettin' there Pitt. I'm gonna start charging by the hour now
How to copy and paste: Cut, copy, and paste - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

What you do is highlight the text in that BB box so it's blue. Then you hold down "ctrl" and the letter "c" at the same time. Then you find where you want to paste it and hold the "ctrl" and the letter "v" down at the same time. And it pops right in.

You could also do it by right clicking and scrolling down to where it says copy and then going to the paste ans click paste.

I'm expecting to see some kind of picture in one of your posts in the next few hours.

C'mon on you can do it!
