Don't overlook Peachtree City. Peachtree City is a great place to retire. It's a master planned, affluent suburb of about 36K people with an average family income around 110K. So it's big enough to have very good shopping and dinning options, but not too overcrowded. It also has one of the lowest crime rates in the country, and the 100 miles of golf cart paths make it possible to leave your car at home. There is also great access to healthcare. Piedmont Fayette Hospital is only 10 minutes away, and you're only 45 minutes away from Emory Midtown.
