Strangely, I just rode down Waters past your house less than an hour ago. I used to live a few blocks away. I know the area well. And no I'm not stalking, was at a friend's. But I did look as we went by. Isn't that creepy?

St. Joseph's Hospital is way out Abercorn. You're thinking of Memorial Hospital. Candler Hospital, which is also nearby, has partnered with St. Joe's but they're still separate entities.

The OP is not even working at the hospital, just nearby.

The hospital closest to Waters & DeRenne would be Memorial Health. St. Joseph's is the one just off Abercorn at the curve before you come up on Armstrong.

No problem for nit picking ellie. I suppose if you got stopped at every traffic light (which you almost ALWAYS do going down Abercorn) then it would be somewhere in the neighborhood of 15-20 minutes. I'm usually one of the people going 55 down Abercorn trying to get through there as fast as possible. haha

The one you see from Truman?
That's where my Bio Bro works.
He's a nurse in Angio.

Yup!

And that's why you don't know where I live.
But you can always find me at The Islander...
Or Wilmington Park Pier.

@Lifeparttwo can you confirm that you are working southside vs. Midtown.
You, like me being a newcomer might not make the differentiation that Ellie and the other vets are making. From a newbie perspective both hospitals seem to be called St. Joseph/Candler.

I have a friend who is a PA at St. Joe's and he lives in Georgetown. Very close to St. Joe's. He doesn't have to deal with typical Abercorn traffic (and if he does it's only for about 3-4 miles across the bridge over the marshlands). There are several townhouses for sale and rent around him. He's right on King George Blvd.
