Try the water without the filter.

Yes, am always reminded how unpalatable (though potable) Savannah's water is whenever I visit home. I was reminded of that more recently when young Savannah relatives visited me here in NY. We went out to eat and they asked if the water in the glasses was mineral water -- "it tastes so good." They had to be told nope, just tap water.

Here's the thing. I have lived in many states, both well and city water, and each one has an adjustment involved, including the taste of the water. I don't know if Pooler water is the same as Savannah water, but our water is perfectly fine.

FYI, the absolute best water I ever tasted was at Gettysburg, PA. It was amazing.

Respectfully submitted. .. how would you know anything about my home, water or filters? I have been filtering for over a decade and am fully cognizant of the process and differentiation and YES IT IS THE SAVANNAH WATER AND NOT THE FILTER.

Default Opinions

I'll give you another "opinion" (you know public forum boards are opinion driven don't you?) Well, without looking at your plumbing I guess the root of your problem is the plumbing system is set up with the toilet bowl and it is hooked up incorrectly with the kitchen water supply. And perhaps the drain of the waste water from your shower was also done the same way. (That would account for the milky look.) Another thing you might want to check is drainage from the gutters or from the roof. Who knows, you're on a search and everything needs to be looked at.

As far as the "bubbling" water...that could be serious. Underground methane gas leak infiltrating your system.
NOTE:
The opinions stated here are strictly the opinions of the writer that knows less about water and plumbing than he knows about any other subject known to man.
