If you want Southern, you'll have to have it shipped in from the Salt Lick (Texas) or Corky's (Memphis). Closest thing to real bbq you'll find in this state (aside from the backyards of those of us who know the craft) is at Cedar River Smokehouse in Renton.

Good call, Xanathos. Cedar River Smokehouse is indeed pretty good. Not Mississippi or Texas or Arkansas good, but much better than average for around here. Uncle Mike's in White Center is another undiscovered, better than average BBQ joint.
