Moving soon to Seattle, looking for probably studio apartment near downtown Seattle. Member USCG. Need safe neighborhood, is Riverview area, near Kenyon Street, a good place for a single gal to live? Also looking at Belltown area and apt. on 9th Ave.

If you are a single woman I would avoid Belltown. A lot of bad stuff going on there. You will not want to go out alone at nights. You would probably want to look at Queen Anne, Capital Hill, University Dist., Greenlake or Wallingford. I don't know anything about Riverview area or Kenyon St. If it's near the Duwamish River, then that too should be avoided.
