I use One Bus Away, which uses GPS to find the nearest bus stop and arrival times, updated with delays by users. I also have text alerts that you set up on the King County Metro website for delays on routes that you may use. For driving, there is a WSDOT App that lets you see the traffic from the webcam system from your phone and has color coded road map showing areas with congestion.

I like "Seattle Freeways" -
https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/seat...329334034?mt=8 . It's the same basic WSDOT data that drives all of the other traffic data, but I like the quick access and defined routes.
