I do enjoy nighttime rain. Going to sleep to the pitter patter of the rain is relaxing.

Nice downpour again this afternoon, but annoying that all the little fir catkins I cleaned up with the leaf blower yesterday are back.

I love how it stops raining for 2 days in Seattle and everyone freaks out about there being a "drought". It makes me laugh.

If it's only stopped raining for two days then how did all of this grass die? Are you really trying to say it's been raining nonstop here for all but two days?

Prior to last week we've only had 1 measurable rain shower in the last 45 days. Some of the outlying areas have had more, but that's all I've seen locally. It's been dry, I've had to water the yard at least once a day since the beginning of may to keep all of the new plants alive.

I've been loving the weather when it's been rainy... or at the very least cloudy. I dislike the sun, although I lived the past 10 years in the sunny tropics. I've loved the temps, too. I'd be happy with these temps (60s) for at least 3/4 of the year
