I don't know, but I would keep an eye here for what is posted over the next couple days, in addition to the forecast:

KOMO keeps hinting at it. But unless it gets a bit colder and wetter, it looks like we won't get any accumulations(?).

I am also watching Cliff Mass. About every 5 minutes I check for a blog update from him!

I admit that I am in North Snoh County, so we are a *bit* colder here than in Seattle/King County.

It would be nice, since we had a "White Christmas" only once in our 22 years here in Sammamish. Another time it snowed for 5 minutes then the sun came out, so that doesn't count. I have always found the site below to be the most accurate, and it shows the snow level at 500', we are above that so could get an inch or two along with the rest of the plateau. Seattle is below that, Queen Anne Hill at 456', Capitol Hill 444', so maybe a few flakes mixed in with the rain but nothing sticking. Even the best forecast around here is subject to change with the mountain and marine influences, so the best way to find out is to . . . wait and see.

I drove over Stevens Pass today to Leavenworth. If you need a dose, it is a winter wonderland up there.

We got about an inch yesterday afternoon in Sammamish, just on the cars and grass, parts of Issaquah were also white for a couple of hours. I guess there is a better than usual chance this year. This morning it had warmed up to 24 and back to just rain.

I listened to a Seattle station this morning and they said no, but it's definitely in the forecast for those of us in the upper elevations of Issaquah.

Let's hope not. Snow really hoses-up this area and even though people say they want it, they've proven time and again that they can't actually handle it.

Don't screw up my holiday.
