The virus just is. It doesn't care for your opinions. There's no negotiating with a virus. You either do what you need to do to win, or you lose.
The problem is most people have been doing that for 18 months and there is no end in sight. The virus is still around and not going away anytime soon. How long more should kids waste? People are a social species and cannot social distance and avoid contact forever.

My biggest reason for incredulity from day one has been the fact that 90 percent of countries are reporting flu-like (or lower) per capita Covid fatality data.

Also making me suspicious is that all the pro-vax people in the media never for one day seemed to seriously question the long-term safety of the experimental vaccine.

Any reasonable human would at least once in a while have had some hesitation during the past year. Even if ultimately he/she became 100% pro-vax.

No they aren't. Covid death rates start at 10 times higher than the worst for flu and go up from there. Look at the source data and recheck the calculations.

Maybe they don't broadcast every thought they have. Some people should take a leaf out of their book.

The vaccine has clearly entered your brain as Dr. JW Ulm feared.

Just look at the numbers.

e.g., Vietnam = 524 Covid deaths in a population of 100 million. Bangladesh = 19,500 Covid deaths in a population of 170 million. Japan = 15,000 Covid deaths in a population of 126 million. South Korea a= 2,077 Covid deaths in a population of 52 million.

You will find at least 150 such countries.

The whole of Africa is a 1.3 billion population covering 54 countries. Covid deaths are at 166,000.

And these deaths are now spread over almost 1.5 years and not just 1 year.

In 90 percent of the world Covid is less dangerous than the flu.

Makes me wonder about the data in the rest, especially in the real outliers.

Percentage of eligible King County residents (12+) who are fully vaccinated is now at 74.8%.

Percent of hospital beds occupied by COVID-19 patients is currently down to 1.9% from a peak of 12.9% back in December.

doesn’t help when you convince others to Not vax. The getting CV while vax is slimmer than Not vax. Nor is dying from CV with vax is also a less than Not vax.
And all these theories about a virus winning big-time are based on something that happened in 1918. After that, we always won? Despite so many countries not vaccinating people en masse for anything? You make your choices but make sure your info is credible and not anecdotal

All my vaccines when I lived in Africa were fake. i.e., they just wrote that I took those, without injecting me. Very common strategy in most developing nations???.
You don’t live in Africa, now.

Hard to trust sources and studies anymore.

e.g.,

Here’s How Well COVID-19 Vaccines Work Against the Delta Variant

These estimates are about getting infected. The likelihood of being hospitalized is far lower with any of these vaccines, compared to being unvaccinated.

Mortality rate in VN is low. Some think....theorize that the diet helps the gut bacteria more.

Who knows.

Now Saigon is in full, complete shut down b/c Delta has skyrocketed and in the neighboring province of Binh Duong (a Saigon suburb IMO).

Killing the economy.

Hanoi is in near complete shut-down.

No food delivery, no Uber, no taxis.

Nothing is open except for grocery stores and a card is now needed for people to shop on their specified shopping days.

The govt does not have enough vaccines nor the money to buy them at the moment.
