Today I'm getting use out of those two portable A/Cs that weren't delivered in time for the June mega heatwave... They would have been super helpful last month! Glad to have them!

Super Moisture Plume Headed for the Northwest.
Many of you will need umbrellas during the next week. And perhaps a lightning rod.

I just talked to my wife she said our area had a massive fog bank this morning.
Even though this is not rain it is a good thing.

Getting rain first week of August?!? I don't think that has happened in my (admittedly short) years in the area.

That's excellent for us (I REALLY hope it happens) but like Cliff pointed out: less enthusiastic about lightening past the Cascades.

The owner of the company my wife works for from California gave her a big umbrella.
It has a large hand printed on it with the middle finger extended.
He is one of our best friends with an odd sense of humor… well I hope so at least .

Oh, I see. A true Pacific Northwesterner won't need no stinkin' umbrella!
