Do you think that the rain or drizzle helped clear up some of the smoke?
I know the wind does wonders.
It’s been pretty windy and drizzly on peninsula lately but we have been more or less smoke free before that.

The smoke in Eastern Washington is forecast to show up in the Puget Sound on the 12th and 13th.

Just what we need, sweltering heat and unpleasant smoke.

So far so good with no smoke here in Sammamish, nice and clear still, but getting hotter than I like already at 84.

Definitely felt the smoke this morning. It's always a joy waking up to hacking lungs.

Thanks, that might explain the bad luck giving us the pink sky this morning. The smoke is bad enough that we'll forgo our usual morning walk.

The indoor air quality is still holding up okay even with the portable A/C units running. We have an air filter with an indicator that goes from blue (good) to red (bad). It's only slightly purple.
