And I don't get significance of red ballcaps.
MAGA. And how.

The Bay Cafe, Breakfast Club and Chelan Cafe all open before 8 on weekends. Probably some others.

I like Chelan Cafe too, also for lunch. I just thought of another good one, in West Seattle, Luna Park Cafe.

Just wondering if Patty's Eggnest survived the Covid shut downs? They had 2 locations. One on Holman.

Another good breakfast choice is the Wild Mountain Café in Crown Hill.

Where is Crown Hill? Is that one of Seattle's many hills? I've never heard of it.

Of course no exact boundaries, and difficult to pinpoint, but generally speaking it's between 15th Avenue NW and maybe 8th Avenue NW and from NW 80th Street up to NW 100th Street. Give or take. It's between the Ballard and Greenwood neighborhoods.

Another way to think of Crown Hill is to take 15th in Ballard and just keep driving. Once you're up on Holman Road, you're in Crown Hill. (This is also where Swanson's Nursery is, Ruth - I think you were mentioning it on this forum a few days back...)

Thought that looked familiar. I turned up after a group long run with Eastside Runners earlier this summer. Golden Gardens Park south through the locks to Discovery Park, various trails, then back. They were packed so got some to-go since I was late and most of the group took off. I had waffles and bacon or some such. Always starved for carbs after long runs.

While waiting for the to-go I went around the building to the Trader Joes and picked up a few things, never a bad idea when near one. My parking was for c. 30 min - 1 hr so I kept things brisk. The parking enforcement was out and writing citations so figured it was time to split shortly thereafter.

Other than wonky parking .... perhaps I didn't try hard enough for a spot...seemed like a nice new-ish plaza and the food's sure good.
