I watched the game at a casino with several hundred other people on the biggest TV I’ve ever seen.
It must have been close to 25-30 feet large.
I was a bit disappointed that there wasn’t much fan rivalry going on the Seattle fans part.
I mean lots of Seattle fans wore their team gear but were quiet.

As a long time fan of Oakland and San Francisco teams who had many bad years we would always tell the other (winning) fans that they sucked.
Seattle owned the Niners for how many years?
That never stopped us from yelling at them.

Not once were we insulted or told to go home.
Heck there were more people ribbing each other in the sport bars on some of the cruise ships I’ve been on.

Bengals. I put 100 dollars on them in June to win it all. I win 2k if Joe Burrow and company can do it.

Can't root against 49ers anymore. Its the QB story with them.

The refs hosed them a bit in the SB last year imo.

Credit to the Rams, they played well enough to be in position to win, but some of those calls in the last drive were iffy.

I am putting on the tin foil hat and assert that the NFL wanted the LA team to win, in LA.

It took me about 2 weeks to get over the Bengals losing the Superbowl
A lot of what ifs towards the end
That pass interference was bad, the defender beat Cupp to the ball and the hand on Cupp was not a push or hold

The last play if the Bengals offensive line guard held off Donald for even half a second Burrow could have thrown the ball to a wide open Chase for the TD. Watch the replay the Bengals guard looked like he did not even try. It looked like the fix was in on that play and he threw the game to the Rams.

I always like a QB story like this.

It shoes that those drafted later can be and are successful (although Purdy is just getting started so we'll have to wait and see).

We know how many first round QBs have went bust.

Starting Trey Lance in the beginning of the season over Jimmy G?

Wasn't sure on that.

I'm a Seahawk fan.

The rivalry between the 'Hawks and Niners does not exist as much anymore.

It could return it both are competing at a similar high level.

Pete Carroll is out as head coach of the Seattle Seahawks after 14 seasons

Quote:
After bringing the Seahawks two NFC championships and the team’s only Super Bowl title, Carroll will no longer be the head coach in Seattle following the longest stretch of success in franchise history.

The decision seems less a firing and more a separation, but one the 72-year-old Carroll was at least somewhat forced to accept following discussions with ownership. Carroll will move into an undefined advisory role within the organization, according to Wednesday’s statement from owner Jody Allen.
I know there are some who will be pleased at this move, but I suspect he's going to be difficult to replace. We may be in for a few years of losing records before we get back on track. Thanks for all the good memories, Coach Carroll.

Please, don't let them hire Bill Belichick, there are plenty of other good candidates available. One theory is that they were thinking about letting Pete go but with so many others getting the sack decided to do it right away to get the best selections. Now the Patriots let Belichick go, and I can't stand him.
