Much too old and demanding. I doubt he'd be considered.

Plus he'd probably run some people like Metcalf off by being too strict. (Not that Metcalf shouldn't get himself a little under control...) Also anyone attracted by Pete's style.

I think we can expect some turnover and churn, regardless of what coach they pick. The current crew was barely a 50% team, even when Carroll was coaching.

All we can do is speculate on who the next HC will be.

Dan Quinn's name is popping up. He's a defensive coach...I'd like to see and Offensive HC this time around.

Dan Quinn took my Falcons to the super bowl, which we barely lost, but still. I'm not sure why we had to fire him. It seems to me that you can't build a successful organization if the head coach gets fired every few years just because of a couple of losing seasons or whatever. Perhaps some of the success of Pete Carroll was just his longevity.

So yeah, anyway, DQ is a pretty good coach and would be good for Seattle. That would be a cool connection between my hometown team and adopted team here.
