I saw a promotional piece on one of the local news channels about a guy buying an entire small town. I missed it, but was wondering about the details. Anyone have a link, or able to give me some moer information? Would really appreciate it. It hit the news this week, I think it was either monday or Tuesday night. Small wierd town name, seemed short. Something about the guy had plans for the town.

You know what would make a lot of money downtown? A pizza by the slice joint thats visitble from Pine Street in the retail core. And come up with some gimmicky topping and call it "Seattle-style." You'd be rich. I wish I had money to implent my ideas. Drat.

I think it's an awesome idea, jessejb. But what would " Seattle Style" pizza be?
There is a Seattle style hot dog, made popular 20+ years ago sold from carts outside Pioneer Square clubs at night, the bun schmeared with cream cheese. Maybe the Seattle style pizza would have cream cheese and smoked salmon?

There's a "Seattle style" pizza recipe in the Joy of Cooking. I think it has prosciutto on it.

Prosciutto is as authentically " Seattle style" as mayonnaise.

I haven't even moved yet, and I miss Seattle already. The people on the Orange County message board are not helpful in the least. This board is really full of great, helpful people. I'll miss you guys. <3

There are certainly things I don't like about the Seattle area, but my biggest peeve was being here and being completely isolated with 2 infants and no friends/family to help. There are lots of things I'm going to miss about this area, though.
