funny fact, booze actually lowers your blood sugar if taken in larger quanitys. A serving or two will raise them, but go much more and your are likely to start dropping (depends on metabolism/insulin immunity). It has something to due with the actual alcohol compound i believe, i have not looked much into this, but i remember it comes up at every single appointment i have.

My point exactly.

But in this case, the buyers are not just out some money. If they truly believe that honey is some miracle food that confers great health benefits, they may lose their health.
