Some posts both here and on another c-d forum have made me wonder how old the average poster is on the S-S & P forum. I'd guess that most survivalist fora have an average age of about forty with a wide distribution, but I believe that it's a bit older here.

I have heard that C-D tends to be an older than average crowd, but, I don't have any hard data on that, I doubt that even the site owner has any way to figure out average age on here.

I turn 54 next week.

I see by the polls that my age group is second to the next older bracket.

Maybe because we are boomers.?

I'm the tail end, next yo the last year of the boomers.

My OH is 58, a boomer too.

I didn't realize how old some were. Not sure why your wasting what little time you have left worrying about doomsday when your just a missed heartbeat from the grave. Odds are, for many, whatever concern a person has, odds are they will be going before that event happens. Even if it happens while they are still sucking oxygen, how long will it really prolong the inevitable.

None of us, at any age, can know "what little time we have left". "The inevitable" is waiting in the shadows for people of all ages. People much younger than all of us here, have stopped "sucking oxygen" unexpectedly, and bit the dust. Just being alive is a liability. Tomorrow isn't guaranteed to any of us, no matter our ages. Of course, the snowflakes think they will inherit the earth, and just wish us old codgers would die already, and leave them their inheritances.

Out of the mouth of babes.....

I'm 54, I still HAVE a lot of living left.

Remember youngin if you don't kill yourself or someone does it for you, YOU WILL be our age sooner than later.....

Age ALWAYS has revenge....
