I usually purchase ethnic clothes from Amazon, and had great experience.
I found a beautiful, traditional ethnic dress to wear for summer in NYC (hey, we're a melting pot!) from Etsy.
The dress is sleeveless but comes with a shawl to cover arms. When I asked the seller to recommend a size for me (based on my measurements), she said she will add sleeves for nominal fee ($4)
My question is, if I request the dress to come with sleeves, how would I pay the extra $4. Is this something normal? Or should I be wary that the seller might be circumventing Etsy?
The seller's storefront says she is based overseas (if that is relevant)

Why don’t you ask the seller how she does it? I think a lot of Etsy sellers can do extra things. She creates the invoice for the cost of her product why shouldn’t she be able to add it on?
