We're taking a roadtrip this summer and one of our 1/2 day, one night stops will be in Sioux Falls. We'd like to see Sioux Falls Park, but we'll be traveling with a dog. Can we bring her to see the falls with us?
sskkc, I wasn't sure about bringing pets to Falls Park. I did some online research...and Falls Park is listed on Dogfriendly.com. I'll send an email to the Parks & Rec... I'll let you know what I get back.
Sioux Falls does have an actual "dog park"... At Spencer Park near I-229 & Cliff Avenue.
I walk around falls park daily in the summer, and I see dogs there all the time. Definitely don't think you have to worry. And even if they weren't allowed, chances are no one is going to stop you in the hour or 2 you would be there. This is all assuming that you are still leashing the dog.
YEAH! Thanks so much for your efforts! It takes a load off our minds... he's still too young to be boarded, so we've got to take him along.
Thanks again!
