Does anyone think a team in Providence RI could work?
You keep bringing up all these random cities but you need to realize it is all about the ownership group. The city is only one factor of dozens. That's who is granted a team. The MLS team would likely grant a team to nearly any city if the ownership group put together a solid enough bid. I doubt there will ever be an ownership group that wants to bring a team to Providence, RI. There are no professional teams there at all and that state is the size of a fingernail.
The FC and all other europoser names needs to go from all US teams. We dont call the sport football, therefor, FC makes no sense whatsoever. SC would be okay I guess.

Many (maybe most) youth clubs go by the f.c., and have for quite a few years.
they need to bring back the Indoor Soccer Leaaague
There is still indoor soccer. The MISL folded last May but the teams founded some other leagues. There are like three professional indoor soccer leagues right now.
That doesnt make it okay. FC stands for Football Club. They arent Football clubs, they are soccer clubs.
They're both, but "F.C" is less specific and less culturally appropriate. Soccer is still association football, though. It is part of the football family, including several other codes.

Technically yes, but when we dont call it that as a culture, it makes no sense especially when trying to gain fanbase.
