Yeah, it's a great year to be a Gamecock...until next weekend. There's a new Tiger in town and it's called AUBURN. Oh and USC would have to win 30+ more games in a row versus Clemson to catch up with them.
g-man430, you should try living in the moment. It's the only way. The chicken curse is gone. Next year is here. So that's baseball, men's and women's soccer, women's basketball, and now football that the ***** have beaten Clemson in this year. Maybe the tigs will win in men's basketball coming up soon.
Regardless of next week, it's been a great season (actually entire year if you include basketball beating #1 Kentucky and, of course, the baseball team winnng the College World Series!)
As long as they play hard and do their best against Auburn, I'm thrilled to be a Gamecock fan!
And, somebody's gotta beat Auburn eventually -- might as well be us!!

No thanks. I'd rather root for teams who actually win national championships and BCS bowl games in football like Nebraska. I knew Clemson was going to lose badly before the game even started which is why I watched Oklahoma vs. Oklahoma State instead. USC is obviously the better team this year and probably will be next year too.
Well at least it was decisive. Clemson has to be the only.500 team in the country that only had one bad loss and one solid one. All the others were within a TD or FG and most were decided at the end.
Congrats to USC fans. FWIW- we gave Auburn their toughest game and USC beat us by a healthier margin than anyone. In theory that makes Auburn-USC interesting.
