QuikTrip has plans to open another store, #1117, somewhere in Anderson County. Has anyone heard of a specific location?

Ugh, I thought something significant was coming when this was bumped.

I do not know what you would consider significant. All I know at this time is: (1) QuikTrip #1117 is opening somewhere in Anderson County, (2) Walmart Neighborhood Market may open a store at the southeast corner of Pearman Dairy Road and Whitehall Road, and (3) a supermarket chain has looked for sites in Honea Path for a possible store.

Something significant would be some dining/retail/attraction that Anderson doesn't currently have. We have enough QT's.

QT doesn't see it that way if they think they can make money with new stores.

Default Rose's, 3223 Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, Anderson, South Carolina 29621-1714

Rose's will be occupying 30,000 square feet of the former Walmart #396 adjacent to Planet Fitness.

As mentioned in "Anderson County, South Carolina supermarkets and grocery stores," the adjacent Bi-Lo #5626 (3233 Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, Anderson, South Carolina 29625-1714) is closing Wednesday, 17 February 2016.

That Bi-Lo was in a terrible location. I wonder if they will build one on Clemson Blvd.

Bi-Lo should have replaced store 5626 years ago. It should have built a new store where Walmart #396 was after Electric Avenue and More closed.

Bi-Lo #5626 has done steady business. The store, originally a Kroger, would need extensive renovations and updates. I would not be surprised if Southeastern Grocers closes more Bi-Lo stores that are in need of updates and have expiring leases.

I think the lack of visibility from Clemson Blvd hurt its business a good bit, missing out on a lot of business from visitors in town, it would seem.
