Post Falls has really in expensive housing... its only 30 minutes from Spokane... very little crime.
You would be cool to come here though because your from portland and those people are cool, i have a problem with the number of californians comming here just because they are selling their 3million dollar homes and buying our 200,000 homes and killing all of our beautiful farm land.
Wow I find it insulting that people think Californian's moving to their state are all rich investors. How about the fact that the cost of living is insane here and there are not enough decent jobs to raise a family! I am planning on moving up to Spokane and I really hope that not everyone is as close minded as this. And I thought Californian's are rude! Wow!

I am from CA.. I still have CA plates. I had a couple people yell out dumb stuff about CA, due to my plates. Personally IDGAF. I pay my taxes and feel I can relocate to wherever I want. I have the right to be here as any other citizen.

There are some closed minded people here. But there are plenty in CA also. Not everyone from CA is rich and own homes. I make almost half as I do here in pay, and can afford a home. I can never do it in CA.

I don't think its the greatest place to live. Not much going on here as CA, but securing a home for my family and setting roots is worth it. Its not easy for anyone to relocate their family. We go through struggles as anyone.

No one can afford a home anymore in the northwest. I think Californians should fix their own state, and grow a pair and confront the illegals issue in their state, and stop being politically correct,....and other issues and stop moving to places like Missoula, Boise, Seattle, Portland, Reno, Spokane, N Idaho, and jacking up all the real estate and making it impossible for locals to afford a home, and compete in the on fire housing market due to the influx of Californians. I hear they are giving away land in Kansas.

Spokane gets the nuts ,fruits and flakes from California. As long as this keeps up the rents and sales are climbing to meet California people coming in. Has change through the years to scum buckets. Sad very sad.
