Sevens rugby now being a olympic sport is huge for rugbys development going forward. For countries such as the USA where its a minor sport.
Nope, to develop it's game the USA needs to concentrate on 15s, 7s will teach them nothing.
Besides come Olympic time NZ will use players like Gear and Savea
Yeah some dodgy decisions I feel, a few players aren't even regulars for their countries. 3 Scots? We had more when we finished bottom of the 6 nations?
Anyhoo, right behind the lads, lets smash Australia! C'mon you Lions!
NZ rugby is where most of my interest usually is. But Very, very pumped and very much looking forward to the Lions tour.
Why? main reason being its a true tour, they play The Western Force, The Reds and others. These games are fantastic, For The Force it will be their biggest game in their history to date. For many of the players it will be their match of a lifetime they will give everything they have.
One of the best games I've ever seen, was when the Lions were last in NZ and played BOP (Bay Of Plenty). They are not a powerhouse in NZ rugby, but came within a whisker of the upset. The game had massive intensity.
Sad there are not many true tours left, looking forward to this one.
RaboPro12 final should be good and an all Ireland final. Seriously, our teams really are just mint. Irish club rugby is the strongest in Europe if you ask me.
