Nah! The mud puddle remark was meant for the Land of 10,000 Lakes, including mud puddles. I just wrote it wrong.

If it holds lots of water and has a bounty of fish, I call it a lake. I don't care how it got there!

You call it a lake but is it really? Lake Junkie needs to know the truth of where she belongs. We can't leave her lost to the unknown.

If the Corps of Engineers calls it a lake, it's a lake. Have you ever known the Feds to be wrong?

Missouri and any other state south of the Mason/Dixon line has reservoirs. You have to go to the Upper Midwest to get some large naturally occurring lakes. I prefer Pelican Lake in MN and Eagle River chain of Lakes in WI

The Creator gave us streams but no lakes, so Union Electric built Bagnall Dam and made Lake of the Ozarks and the Corps of Engineers made the rest.

You dadgum Northerners should quit bragging about what the Creator did for you. It's unseemly to brag about grace.

We Ozarkers are thankful the Lord gave people the brains to build dams to give us power and good man-made fishing lakes.

Now shut the heck up and brag about something you've actually done up north that's worth a crap.

What have we actually done ?

Fed you people.

Certainly the rocky hills of the Ozarks couldn't raise food to feed the Missourians.

You sure like talking trash to folks that YOU want to be neighbors with..
Remember YOU wrote this in another thread.....

Just looking for a place that has milder winters than Minnesota.

I would still spend from May 1 til Nov 1 in Minnesota.

Those 6 months are great in Minnesota.

SoutherN MO/ northern Arkansas is a 1 day drive from Minnesota
.

and give me a break about Minnesota, we can grow more produce in one month in California than you can in 2 years.........
