North Townsend St. is not iffy. It is an area to avoid at all costs.

Gertrude St. is also a very dangerous area.

Westcott St. is iffy. It depends on the address. The closer you get to E. Genesee St., the more it is to be avoided. The southern part of the street is not bad, but you can run into S.U. students/renters who can keep you up half the night.

Gertrude varies, but I wouldn't call it VERY dangerous. Westcott is only iffy north of East Genesee Street. North Townsend also can vary, as some of it is by St. Joe's Hospital and that area has revamped housing. North of Butternut will depend on how comfortable a person would be. Our Lady of Pompeii Church and a couple of Asian grocery stores are in that area.
