The last time I flew out of Hancock I was happy with the changes then, and a lot of the new stuff wasn't open yet then. Almost disappointed with the timing of my flights in the coming week, as they're super-early and super-late, no time/reason to try out the new Middle Ages pub they put in.

Sounds like a scaled down version of what they originally wanted to build a few years ago over there. If that's what it takes to get a signal over there, all the power to them. I think I remember the original plan being much larger and ran into issues with the whole flood plain issue noted in the article.

The old Syracuse plastics factory project is moving forward according to the village board meeting minutes.

In regards to the basin block project in Liverpool, I think it's dead. According to BidClerk.com, an unidentified project that appears very similar is classified as "abandoned."

It's unfortunate, because I though it was an excellent project. I haven't had time recently to review the meeting minutes, however here are the links to minutes from the Planning, Zoning and Board of Trustees:
Planning Board - New York
Zoning Board of Appeal - New York
Village Board of Trustees - New York
