Calling all Apple IPAD owners.......is this device worth the money ?

What gripes , or missing features, do you have with it if you own one?

Would you buy another IPAD or recommend it to others??

How good is Apple phone tech support if you have a problem?

Would it take a killer deal to get you to buy one?

Yes, it is so worth the money. I love my iPad, never had a problem with it.

Only you can say whether it's worth the money. I had an iPad2. I loved it! I sent it to my brother-in law and got myself a Nexus 10 (Android). Why? I'm a software developer. I absolutely will not pay Apple $100 per year to download MY software onto MY device! And, I can't be bothered to learn Objective-C (that's just a small issue - I can develop for Apple platforms using Java).

If I'd kept my iPad I would have jailbroken it to get around the developer license "fee" (ripoff). But my b-i-l was lusting after an iPad, so I made us both happy.

Apple tech support one talked me through a botched update. They were great! Far more than simply script-monkeys.

Love my iPad 3 and I'm not really an APPLE fanboi either. There's a lot of cool things I can do with it - a lot of excellent apps for it. My only gripe is it is pretty well locked down, but that's also a good thing I suppose. I don't have to worry about running antivirus on it.

Only you can decide if it's worth it Pipes.

But I really believe that Nook deal is unbeatable right now.

Could be, could be. However, my ipad is dying and I can get a free replacement with my applecare policy.

What to do, oh what to do??

Well in that case, replace the iPad.

Definitely worth it to me. Mine was given to me for free, but I would have paid for it now that I know how good it is. I will buy another for sure. I use mine for work, presentations, and other tasks in addition to the regular old browsing and email.

I have a nook color and just bought an iPad mini. So happy with the mini. The iPad apps are way better/more polished than android tablet apps. And stuff hits the iPad first.

I can now keep up with my social media in an easy to digest and centralized way. I am happy.

The nook worked ok but there were not enough apps and safari on iPad is better than the browser in my nook.

No It isn't..........Seriously....

Sure....the Ipad looks amazing. But eventually you are probably going to be staying up all night trying to get work finished and get frustrated with NO Micro SB, No Bluetooth capability, Locked OS....etc\

I would only choose apple if I was given it. I would not suggest buying it.
