A Michigan dentist was arrested by Polk County officials Saturday after he found a credit card in a Publix parking lot and used it to buy two large pizzas at a store nearby.

According to the report, on Saturday night 32-year-old Harrun Majeed accidentally dropped his card in a Davenport Publix parking lot and then left without realizing it.

Majeed is a 14-year Naval Veteran, currently pursuing his college degree at Valencia Community College. Majeed told deputies he and his family live "pay check to pay check."

There are good Samaritan stories out there - not everyone is scum - but it shows that everyone, rich or poor, is capable of doing wrong.

I don't understand how some people think it is ok to just take something that doesn't belong to them.

This weekend, my sister's purse was stolen while at a restaurant. Her husband activated the GPS tracking on her phone right away and they saw the purse moving to the bathroom. By the time they got to the bathroom, the thief was gone with her cash (about $300), but left her credit cards, phone, and all other important stuff. We figured the woman who stole it realized she could be tracked through the phone or credit cards, so she was a bit smarter than the dentist in the other story.

What surprised me though was how precise the GPS was they could actually see it moving through the restaurant and stop moving in the bathroom. That was pretty cool to watch.

Hopefully he can do his community service in the prison dental clinic as an inmate.

In reality, he will hire a really good lawyer and dismiss the charges. Plus credit card thief for $40 is a misdemeanor, since it's under the $500 rule to qualify as a felony. Technically, it will not harm his career, but his reputation, I can say the otherwise.

Anyhow, this is up there with the professor stealing a bicycle off a parked car at USF LMAO.

What was he thinking to use a lost credit card, that is what happens when you stare at too many teeth in a day.

I just looked at this closer. I have a few questions.
1. Who pays $40.64 for 2 large pizzas?
2. Was the fact that he got extra olives really important?
3. Does the fact that the pizzas have extra olives make the crime worse?
4. Were the olives on both pizzas, or just one?

I wonder how many times he has commit fraud with insurance companies over dental bills....

I don't buy it that a dentist with an official clean sheet is doing this and never has done anything else..

I guess there might be insurance fraud charges in the future if the start to check this dentist out and If i were the friends parents...I would pay close attention to this father.
