I was so happy the skies opened up and let loose. I'd be ok with a solid month of nonstop rain at this point.

We have one more impulse of upper level energy about 120 miles offshore. Lets hope it holds together once it's 20 miles off the beach in cooler water.

I was happy to see the rain. Looking forward to days of sunshine and our afternoon thunderstorms.

Whoa I would be scared to drive my car through that. Do the roads flood like that often?

Opening my lanai door at daylight is part of every morning but today the cats weren't interested in going out there and it was a bit cool so closed it. There's still a light breeze that keeps the palm fronds gently swaying and the sun was in and out all day. Now it's stuffy enough for the A/C. I do like the rainy days. They're perfect for a good book and cuppa java or tea.

yep - especially downtown Tampa east of the Platt Street Bridge---don't want to be there for a downpour....instant flooding.

Enjoy it now, it's our last shot. Now we got hot and dry May to deal with before we start to get our summer type T- storms going around mid June.

Hundreds of thousands of snowbirders who left FLA for their northern homes are regretting their decision to leave early.

Lots of snow up north.
