This is basically a mirror of my houses size and monthly bills, the last bill (due next) is 95 dollars, and I expect the next one to be more like 75. One GREAT energy saver is to install/have installed an energy miser switch for the hot water heater. I basically override it though, I turn it on a half an hour before I want a shower Or need to run the dishwasher. Afterwards I flip it off. Even in the off position the water stays hot enough all day/night for just general cleaning, wash your face, shave, etc. Its a really cheap and inexpensive way to save a lot of money. I guess the bottom line would be... why heat water for no good reason? Good luck to all trying to lower their bills.
