Hi,

I am cancelled my cable- Bought me a Roku (which works pretty good), along w/ Hulaplus.

But now I would like basic free reception for local channels. I live in 33709/33710 area. Anyone have good luck w/ a particular antenna? I do have trees around my house.

I see one guy on here bought the Winegard SS- 3000. Maybe I should go with this?

Any other ideas please? I really appreciate it.

Thanks

We cut the cord, too. I bought an indoor antenna for about $30 from Best Buy. Pretty sure it's this one:

RCA - Indoor HDTV Antenna - White - ANT1400

House is surrounded/canopied by oak trees, and I keep the antenna on the floor under an end table that's under a window. I'm on the east side of the city, so I'm a little bit closer to Tampa than you are (I assume most things are broadcasted from Tampa), but every channel comes in fine for me.
