I am sorry, but why move here & then want to change "here"? There is really nothing all that wrong with this area!
All these requests for change with things that cannot exist here Physically like mountains! Main Streets!

Its not Miami nor Hooboken! Its Tampa! You moved here, now enjoy it & leave it alone!!!

Mountains I'll give you, but a Main Street could be (and should be) achieved. Attitudes like yours are the main reason why Tampa is broken. "Status quo" is NOT GOOD ENOUGH.

Not everyone wants to move to Commiefornia where there are mountains, palm trees and beaches.

You would think a "PhotoPro" would want something more photogenic around like a main street and not strip malls...

Let me put it this way: IF "I" was having power, we would have had a Main Street & a lot more stuff by now!!! Keep electing retired republicans & watch how nothing will ever change!!!

You are totally off base with that comment. Political affiliation has nothing to do with it, and even if it did, recent mayors and political leanings in Tampa city limits have been Democrat.

St. Pete has a centralized main street location and a Republican mayor.

I blame the constituency more than the political puppets placed into office. They usually just pander to what the people want. In Tampa's case (for far too long), they have wanted endless sprawl and pretty little gated communities 20 miles from nowhere. Buckhorn's on the right track to the 21st century, though.

I agree... party affiliation has nothing to do with it.

That's my opinion.

I think if there were less people making these decisions a lot more would get acomplished.

Another useless thread!

Much Warmer winters, true Urban areas, and a good mass transit system.

It would be nice if we had coral reefs and clearer water, but thats not really anything man can do anything about that.
