I've never heard a knowledgeable football fan declare that a team has been bad for it's entire history while neglecting 10 successful years. Unheard of. You're delusional. It makes absolutely no sense and prevents you from having any credibility on the subject of football. Stick to keeping old records of rainful and temps.

I have never been a football fan, or sport fan of any kind. Just tired of the flops we have as teams.

That must be a little depressing.

Yep, but we have NFL Sunday Ticket so we get to watch the Pats. Leading their division even with losing so many key players with season ending injuries, plus so many rookies this year. Can't say they will go all the way, but at least they are interesting.

BTW - Congrats on the mighty Red Sox!

Looking forward to the news about Schiano tomorrow. Wondering how loud the cry for a new head coach will get before they can him. Unprecedented for the Glazers to fire a coach during the season.

The Buccaneers' 48-21 Super Bowl victory over the Raiders was not luck. You must think we fell off a turnip truck or something. That is a blowout...27 point margin. It is not like they kicked a last second 50 yard FG to win by 3. They dominated the Raiders that day! They also had to beat several good teams to get there.

They were an excellent team that season. Would you want to take a poll on that?...you would be the only vote for "lucky team" that year rather than excellent.

As for today's Buccaneers, a winning team is very doubtful with Schiano as coach. It would be better to release him earlier than later. He is obviously in over his head and just way too impulsive making knee jerk decisions and showing zero class as well. Jacksonville may win their first game before Tampa Bay and you do not want to be the joke of the league.

Yet you are posting in a football thread to provoke a response from others? Sounds like trolling to me.

I tried to support him since day one, but for all the talent this team seems to have (except maybe QB), they're underperforming to say the least. I think you're right about being over his head. You have to look at the owners for this bad hire, along with their decision to hire Raheem Morris a few years back.
