Does anyone know where the visiting NFL teams stay when they visit Tampa? The wife is a big Niners fan (BLECH!!) wants to "greet" her team.

They vary from team to team. I have seen teams at the hotels in Downtown to the hotels in Westshore. It all depends on what brand of hotel the team has a contract with.

If you really want to know their hotel. Track their plane into TPA with Flightaware, go to the top deck of the short term parking garage, see them get on the buses and then follow said buses.

And their flight number is DL 8864 or DL 8871.

This is probably not much help because I do think its no the same ones everytime, but when I had to work with the visiting team its always been the Hyatt by Rocky Point, or the Intercontinental at Kennedy/Westwhore.

Why would a Buc fan know where the VISITING team is staying? We don't egg buses like they do in Philly.

Not looking forward to all the Niner fans at this weekends game. You know there will be a lot of fairweather fans there - as there usually are now that the Niners are better again. I sit in a row where the tickets are usually bought up by out-of-towners. Oh nevermind, I'll be sitting in club seats Sunday thanks to C1 Bank giving me two tickets to the game w/ my checking account.

Whew!.

There were a LOT of Bills fans at the game last week; they were pretty loud in the first half but as the score differential grew, they quieted down. I'm not predicting that will happen at this week's game. :-(
