I may Sunday when i am 70 miles offshore fishing. No wind and glass calm seas really make it hot out there.

Even the fish suck down and sulk in deep water when high pressure is on top of us. Think of all that weight in the mid and upper levels pushing down from high pressure. Since it makes air sink that heats up due to friction. No wonder it was 95 here today.

I don't expect the fish to chew even in 160 ft.

Been getting some rain the last few days since we are in what should be our normal southeast windflow.

Just bought a telescope today so that should bring more rain.

Another dry month this summer for most of us. I told ya guys it would be a hard, hot and dry summer. With dry upper levels and high pressure locked in it is just hard to get good rain.

Out here in Brandon, we have had some nice showers this summer. I can't remember when I ran my sprinklers last. After some nice showers, I get a few areas in my back yard that can hold standing water. Its been wet these last few weeks in those spots! These past few weeks the humidity has been nice as well. We have spent many of evenings under the stars. The last few days its been thicker but that's what the "cool" tub is for. Over all Its been an enjoyable summer, but we still have august to get through. Most of the preseason football games are at night, so that should make it easier to watch the games outside.

That's a Bluegill or Sunfish. Tasty little fillets. You can catch a bucket full in no time.
