We, My husaband and I, are in need of a cheap apt. or a roommate for a few months until we get settled. I will have a good job in Largo. We are moving back to this area and just need a little help starting out. After I have worked a month or 2 we can move into a bigger place, but for now a roommate or a eff. or studio apt. is just fine. st. pete. largo, clearwater, or anywhere near there is fine. We will be there on Jan.7 or so. Email me at: Shanabarger@hotmail.com
Thanks Nancy

Check out the St Pete times or craigslist.com. That would be your best bet.
How much do you want to spend for rent? Do you want to live in Largo?

I have checked out both but, nothing yet. Anywhere in Pinellas County is fine. Right now I can't be picky. I was hoping to pay 400 for a room mate or apt. Money is tight for the first month. After that, I can afford to pay more. I just need someone to get my over the hump month. Nancy

Here are two and they're a bit over the 400, but it's the least I can find right now. I thought Extended Stay Motels would be the answer, but they're actually quite expensive. Good luck in your search.

Would these be too far away?

Apartment guide, For Rent, and Apartment Finder are the best ones to look at. You can find them at any grocery market or Walmart/Target. Craigslist if you want a roommate.

I work in an apartment community here in Brandon so I can help you with this!

Thanks for your help Jammie. yes Tampa is to far. We don't have a car right now and the job is in Largo. The other ones are boarding on too far, but I will keep them in mind.
mquintana, I will look for them on the internet: Apartment guide, For Rent, and Apartment Finder. I'm not there yet to pick up a magazizne. I'm hoping to have a place before I move. Thank you for your help. Nancy

There are a lot of little apt complexes in Largo that aren't the ritz but aren't in a bad nabe. You also might be able to find a mobilehome to rent that would be reasonable.

I wouldn't suggest a mobile home, especially in this area, they are all run down and nasty. There are small apartment communites that are ok, but the others-as most-are running specials, so you might be able to get in with an awesome deal!!!

Keeper mentioned a lot of little apt. complexes. Can you give me same of the names so I call call them. On the internet, I haven't seen many in Largo, so I bet, I'll just have to call them. Nancy

http://tampa.craigslist.org/apa/523403122.html (broken link)

They have studio for $450.00..

I can't tell you if it is in a good or bad area but there are duplex listings on craigslist.com

There is a trailer for $235.00 to move in but you would have to fix it up. Not sure how that would work out.
As I stated previously my SIL lived in Largo several years ago in a little apt building that was not fancy but it was clean and the area wasn't bad.

As a warning.. always be careful when renting anything off of the Internet. You never know if it is for real or a scam.
