I've got nothing nice to say about Holiday. Definitely not my style!

Nothing nice about it other than dirt cheap homes and prop taxes. I am sure a home seller will pop in and give their unicorns and rainbows view of the place to they can make a buck. Just drive around the smaller 2bedroom home hoods around US19 and you will understand,

It sucks. Counting down the days until we move. Low income, low rent, low life.

Just stay away from west Pasco from Hoiliday to Hudson. Most of it, NOT ALL , but most of it is run down small 2bedroom home hoods that are rented out to druggies and low class peeps.

...or retirees who have been there for years and are effectively trapped due to the precipitous drop in home values. My MIL is one of those - a home they paid $60k for in the early 90s is now worth maybe $30k. Their street is still nice because all of the original residents are still there, but move off their street a block and it's the hood with rentals full of sketchy folks and rampant crime.

As the people around her die off her street will end up tanking as well. We're not looking forward to having to sell her house when the time comes....

Oddly, the crime statistics graphs shop a fairly moderate crime rate. I checked several including city-data.

It's an armpit nothing but run down homes and shacks that are mobile homes.

Regardless of the statistics, I would encourage anyone considering it as a place to live to drive around and explore it thoroughly. I believe they will come to the conclusion that it's a less than ideal place to live.
