I've seen it on National news plenty of times, actually every time there is a new death the police relate to that area. With the same video of the guy they want to talk to.

I've had no less than a dozen phone calls from family/friends in other parts of the country who have seen this story and know I work all over the Tampa area. Seems like it's getting national coverage to me...

And isn't Seminole Heights a bad neighborhood in the first place? That's near Sulphur Springs which is an absolute armpit.

Its a great neighborhood w/ a great location IMO, the residents have worked hard over the last 10-15 years to transform it and have done a really good job. Beautiful, restored homes.
Hyde Park in S Tampa went thru the same type gentrification and look at it today.

Sulphur Springs is rough but its a few miles away from Seminole Heights.

I'm quite surprised no one has snitched yet w/ a 150k reward.

It's not clear that somebody hasn't. My girlfriend was talking with some of the police who come into her job and they told her that they have some ridiculous number of tips. It'll take quite a bit of time to run through them all.

I understand about the amount of tips they've received but I'd imagine (just assuming) that the FBI knows how to weed through them fairly quick. I've got a gut feeling that they still have no idea who it is and that he's gonna do it again before he gets caught. I hope I'm wrong.

spoke to some German tourists today who brought the murders to my attention - obviously on their minds - I'm pretty sure this type of news affects the tourism to our area......understandably.

Tourism is a bunch of crappy low-paying jobs anyways.
