I have no need to "save face" here. Just making sure that claims made are accurate, and in this case, they're not, unless you can provide some sort of proof other than just stating that "it's true".

Do you want to suggest there's a state-wide program to fly the homeless out of state now that DeSantis did it yesterday?

Please provide citation and proof that "they" exist and that "the Greyhound office" here was actually contacted. A voice recording of you calling the office will suffice.

I sent you two links, one of which proves it's a state-wide program. I've sent links, you've sent conjecture.

It did in Boonesville, Missouri (hope I spelt city correctly) a few years ago BUT you had to be going to family. In other words they were NOT sending you to join the other "homeless" in the NEW location. It was "funded" by a church I believe. I chilled there for a few weeks and had taken Greyhound.

Exactly my point. There are numerous local aid organizations who can and do provide funding for such things, however, there are no "across the board" programs for tickets for the homeless by Greyhound or the State of Florida.

Not trying to pick nits here, but since people often look to these forums for information just trying to have clarity and accuracy about the statements, that's all. Especially on a subject that's important to the marginalized.

Just wait until next year (2023), there are going to be lots and lots of homeless due to foreclosures. That is why I have not moved as yet. Lol, never want to be homeless again. Angela

Why will there be foreclosures?

I don't know who to believe anymore... I've dealt with the people who work there, and they can't formulate a coherent 6 word sentence to save their lives. It's why I don't use Greyhound when I travel by bus.

Either way, moot point... Tampa has a shockingly bad homelessness problem, that to me, does not exist to this level in other major FL cities. It needs to be addressed.

Not an expert, just my opinion that with all the free money now ending, "some" folks may have a hard time paying their mortgages. Angela
