I am trying to find apartment complexes/communities who's resident attend either one of the following schools: Bryant Elem, Gorrie Elem., Hunter's Green Elem., Mabry Elem., Northwest Elem., Roosevelt Elem., and Westchase Elementary. Does one have children attending one of these and live in an apartment that you like? Any information or opinions are greatly appreciated! I have found a ton of apartments but they don't list what schools their residents attend and when I ask in an email I get all the info in the world but not my question answered!

Ok Thanks for the info! I'm new to this site and don't know much about it yet but realtors who work with renters are certainly welcome to "DM" me! Thanks again.

I think the one thing that would help is what price range are you looking at for an apt?
What type of commute? If you have a job here already, what part of town?

If you tell us the apts, we might be able to help you figure out what school. Gorrie and Mabry are in S. Tampa, Westchase is in Citrus Park/TnC area, although Westchase is its own little world.

I'd like to be at $1,100 or under. My husband would be transfering from his job so yes, I know its in Tampa just not sure where, but we own cars so we would be able to drive if it is out the area we are living. I am coming down in February to see the Deerpath On The Lake Apartments (and hopefully some others), I know the school is Lake Magdalene, which seems to have good grade(anyone love this school??) just not sure if it is north or south ect part of Tampa. Which of those areas you meantioned are good places for a family?....clean, safe, easier driving around? Thanks very much for all your help!

Default this is Carrollwood and it's nice.

Traffic is just awful intown and with construction on I-275 a mess. But if he's working downtown, or south Tampa, he'll take Dale Mabry. It's not far in distance so even with the terrible traffic probably 30 min.
Carrollwood is a good central area that is safe, has good shopping and activities and the school is pretty good as none of them are fabulous and probably a good jumping off point. Only if he's working on the far East side would this be very tiring after a few months. Can you be more specific as to where he'll be working and where you're coming from? Your comment about having 2 cars is kinda funny as driving anywhere in Tampa is necessary but can be a headache just to go a few miles. Make sure that you will get that school assignment as Tampa (actually Hillsborough County schools ) does bus. With 1,100,you should find a nice rental in a complex. They may not be the newest but they've got amenities and you'll see if they're well maintained. The good thing about complexes here is they very rarely take a whole month for security and many offer specials on move in. Both of you will have to submit to the credit and background checks so that means 2 app. fees unless his company is arranging it. Will your husband be here to do the app. If you're not working or if you don't have 3,300/month on your own, you'll probably have to take the app. back home with you so he can sign and then mail it back with your dep. BTW if the household doesn't have 3,300 in monthly income, you won't qualify for 1,100 in rent. The formula is 3x rent in income. A few places are looking for 4x.

Hi,
We are purchasing a new home and the remainder of our lease (through 02/09) is available. You will have the option to renew the lease through the Marquis if you need to stay longer. We can be out of the apartment by 8/25 if necessary. It is a 1,005 sq. ft. 2 Bedroom, 2 Bath with 1 car attached garage. Private Entry through quiet courtyard. Floor plan and amenities can be seen at ://www.marquisrentals.com/rentflorida/apartments_cezanne.htm Close to pool, 24hr fitness center and business center. Complex also includes tennis, car wash station, 2 pools and beach volleyball court. Email me at violetmoondancer@hotmail.com if you are interested!

I believe our area feeds into Hunter's Green Elementary
