Too bad there weren't more games, but I'm sure it's better to win in your home town. Congratulations, Phillies!

Philly: The place where they used to have jail cells at the ballpark for drunk and their ridiculousness. Something to be proud of I guess. But hey, congrats to the Philly PLAYERS.

Lakeland Yankee, you live close to TB and pull for Phillies? What's up with that man? I-95 N must be calling you, sounds like you are ready, lol.

Good year Rays!

Adapt, pull for the home team... that's what I like and respect about places like Charlotte and Atlanta. Lots of ppl from all over (not as much as FL though) but yet, so many ppl pull for their teams. Ever been to a Carolina Panthers or ATL Falcons game? Very few fans of the opposing team, the new residents adapt, enjoy their new home, and thus pull for their new "home team." Why cant people here do that?

Dont get me wrong, I am a Bucs and Jags fan 1st, if I lived in ATL, I'd pull (quietly) for the Bucs, but I wouldnt make a big deal and be decked out in all Bucs attire and act like some of the opposing fans at TB games do (namely NY and Boston), who live in the Tampa area, but go out of their way to let others know they are for the opposing team.

I would have been for the Rays in all other cases but not against the team I grew up with...... , that would be treason .

Right! The stadium was tame compared to the streets tonite!
But I don't expect less from a city who worships their sports!

Did you missed my post about the Lightning, Bucs, Storm, and of course the Rays who WON the AL and their division over teams with salaries quadruple what the Rays pay.
