w2, also look around the Westchase area, zip 33626...it has a younger hip vib crowd (well at World of Beers any way
). This area would be central between Clearwater & Tampa downtown. You might not find anything to rent inside Westchase for $1K, but there are some nearby.

The Causeway and Howard Frankland can get backed up, especially with all the construction, but the Gandy always seems relatively free-flowing. They're finishing up the Gandy Boulevard roadwork in Tampa.

Doubt that you would ever find anything decent in your price range on Clw Bch. Look around the Gandy area or Feather Sound.

Hi there. I live about 5 minutes from where your new job is. Have you checked out Promenade at Carillon Apartments? It's located right off of Ulmerton Road and Carillon Parkway. It's a huge apartment community. We've been living here for 7 years now. It's conveniently located - just 2 minutes from the Howard Frankland bridge which takes you into Tampa. I can get to Clearwater in about 10 minutes.
