My fiance decided that we may be moving for a job opportunity. He works for Saia Motor Freight. We have looked at maps almost nightly for months, and are not real sure where we should go. We are moving from Nebraska. I am looking for somewhere that kind of has a homey feeling as I will be leaving my entire family behind who i am very close with. We both enjoy out door activities. Just looking for somewhere that will feel like home Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks

well I do know where sala motor freight is located and is it the one off of orient & broadway ? if it is then you dont want to live in that area cause I used to live there in that area with my sister and it is kind of redneck and low income housing area , so I would stay away from there maybe go towards brandon and seffner or valrico . are you buying or renting ? I would suggest renting until you see if you like it . alot of ppl get to florida and they realize that they dont like it or it is too hot for them and then they are stuck . I would suggest rent for a yr and then if you dont like it maybe the hubby could transfer back . My sister lives in tampa and she loves it but I dont care for it and my hubby transfered back closer to his family . Good luck whatever you decide .

Tampa is one of my favorite cities, and I've lived all over. People are very friendly and the nightlife is great! Look at renting a house in Town and Country. That way you'll be close to everything..bay, downtown, stadium, airport. Crabby Bill's on the courtney campbell causeway is fun if you like outdoor activities. Sand volleyball, dodgeball, etc.

You should be able to find a nice area in Valrico, which is not far from where he will be working.

Nice area, lots of diversity, easy commute.
