That's kind of vague- "must be good on family values". Could you be more specific? As in affordable housing, good schools, open-minded populace, low crime, availability of organic produce, ...?

I'm just thinking that all hospitals deal with blood disorders, so if you gave us other factors we could probably be of more help.

I propose that you ask your current physician for referrals to Hematologists in TN that are qualified to treat the particular blood disorder. Go from there on researching the cities.

Maryville, TN has a good hospital in the city limits and is a wonderful city to live. Schools are some of the best Tennessee has to offer too! Maryville is about 20 minutes from UT Medical Center which is a leader in hospital care.

Default looking for GP physician in East Chattanooga area

We are new to Chattanooga. I am looking for a Family Physician/Internist on the east side of town (we live in Apison). I'd love to find someone who is in a small practice where you would feel comfortable spending time and asking quesions. I figure for the most part we are in good health and should any problems arise, this physician should be able to refer us to a specialist. If you know of a good GP on the east side (East Brainerd, Ooltewah, Collegedale, Apison) could you please e-mail me directly at:
SliceOL@aol.com

Thank you for your help!
