If you're considering a used Tesla Model S, I'd also have a good look at the new Hyundai Ioniq 6 - you might be able to get a new Ioniq 6 for the same price as an older Mode S, and the reviews on the Ioniq 6 have been pretty good! The top model of the Ioniq 6 has AWD, 320 hp, 446 lb-ft of torque, 270 miles EPA range rating and an MSRP of $56.1k, and it is said to be a slick, luxurious vehicle.

It's a sedan, not an SUV. But if you don't want to consider it, that's fine by me, I was only trying to help you.

I've been studying and watching a lot of EV videos. A couple concerns with the Ionic 6 (the new one coming out-currently the Ionic 5 CUV is available). First-the good is a very high peak charging rate, IIRC about 230kW. Bad parts-only will reach that charge rate for a very small part of the charging curve (Tesla charges faster over the full capacity of the battery). It does not do battery preconditioning-meaning that plugging in to charge in cold weather results in very slow charging (<50kW), not improving until the battery warms. And finally, many non-Tesla charging networks are not reliable.
