To be even more honest, both of these bridges are a waste of money.

Building huge elaborate bridges over flat prairies and a ditch is a pretty bad use of city funds, tbh...

Lmao. That's funny lol. When I think about it the Trinity River flood plain is like a gigantic ditch. We should just drain the river (creek). I am sure the only reason it's there because it provides water to the area. Other than that the river is useless.

The FW and BigD bridges are both butt ugly. But, ours (Dallas) is more obnoxious, we win.

Who cares about how the bridge looks? I'd rather see the overall project in effect.

BTW, Fort Worth's bridge IS necessary because it's a main thoroughfare, replacing an almost 100 year old bridge. I don't care how "spectacular" the bridges are. Just as long as they're an important piece to a bigger puzzle (http://www.highrises.com/blog/fort-worth/trinity-uptown-could-add-10000-new-homes-north-of-dowtown-fort-worth/ - broken link).

LOL! They should have at least made the giant arch smaller or made it like the golden gate. But naw they chose to make it look like a PVC pipe!
