Both are billed as changing the very landscape of their cities , but which do you prefer ?

Dallas trinty:The Trinity River Project | DALLAS TEXAS REAL ESTATE

Houston Buffalo Bayou Plan :Urban Development | Design

Lets not engage in the bashing, just a honest view of which you would prefer

I prefer Fort Worth's TRV over BOTH of those.

But if I have to pick either one of those, I'd go with the Dallas Trinity Plan.... they need it more.

From what I've seen, the Bayou plan looks like it would be amazing, comparable to Austin's Lady Bird Lake / Town Lake developments or better, if it were to actually happen as shown?

Oh NOOOOOOOO. No it's not. You're good.

Let this be just between Dallas and Houston. Just letting you know that they're not the only cities in Texas with big downtown/river projects in plan. San Antonio and Austin also have them.

Austin has The Downtown Austin Plan
San Antonio has River North
and Fort Worth has the TRV.

Hell, even Waco, El Paso, and Corpus have big core projects in the works. I mean, not every single thing in this state is Dallas vs. Houston. But just for now, let it be about these two.

No , but these two city are the largest in Tx, and give the massive undertaken will alt both landscape , the bayou wraps around Downtown Houston and Dallas trinity would make it the largest urban park in america, so on scale

The TRV will basically expand downtown Fort Worth to twice its size.

Austin's full scale project (or projects, I should say) will make it look even more unrecognizable than it is now.

Trust me, I make it a B-line to study ALL these projects, and I don't even have my degree yet. But I can tell ya for certain.... 1. They're not the only two cities in this state with massive projects in the works, and 2., Dallas (on its own) is the 3rd largest behind San Antonio.

But I'm not knockin'.

Both plans are really nice and will be good for both. I personally think the bridges in the Trinity river Project gives it the edge....Oh and the Continental bridge park.
