I am a big Italian food lover and I would love to know where the best places to eat are in Texas and the best pizza in Texas ? I I moved here AND livein San Antonio, but I would love to visit other cities and try new places to eat as I go on vacation . Thanks all, G.D.

Star Pizza in Houston is yummy.

Actually, my favorite for Italian is Two Guys from Italy, located on Webb Chapel in Dallas. Also, Campisi's on Mockingbird, in Dallas.

PS - can any advice ever be given on this board without starting yet more Hou vs Dal banter? (honest statement, not aimed at any one poster.) I'm not from either city and this gets beyond tiresome.

Its an honest question. I genuinely want to know what kinds of food are available in the Houston area that arent in the Dallas area.
In my opinion, both are top notch in the food department. The only noticeable difference Ive found has to do with seafood.
